The possibility of needing constant care or supervision
because of failing health can create tremendous worry. No
one wants to be a burden on their family.
Long Term Care Insurance benefits pay for the care or
services that may be necessary, which an individual may not
otherwise be able to afford, or where an individual may wish
to preserve his savings and investments. The payment of the
benefit is based on the insured's inability to perform 2 out of
the 6 activities that are commonly referred to as Activities of
Daily Living (ADL). The ADL normally include bathing,
dressing, toileting, transferring from bed to chair and vice
versa, eating and continence.
Long Term Care is a part of the living benefits types of
insurance that I am specializing in.
